Police officers around mid and east Devon have visited over 350 farms to raise awareness of crime prevention in rural and isolated communities
They also encouraged farmers to sign up to the 'Farm Watch scheme' and encourage the reporting of anything suspicious to the Police 101 number.
The ‘community messaging days’ targeted every farm in parishes on the mid and east Devon border with Somerset.
The three days saw an equivalent to 37 officers visiting all 13 parishes and 350 farms.
