The public are being invited to comment on a detailed 30-year study on railway routes and services - including those in this area.
The study by Network Rail looks at the rising demand for rail travel between London and the South West - with Exeter included as a major destination - and how that demand will be met.
It includes the measures being undertaken to make the line more resilient to flooding at Exeter's Cowley Bridge and Honiton... and also looks at the Devon Metro proposals which include new stations at Cranbrook and Marsh Barton.
However it doesn't go into detail about the future of the vulnerable coastal line at Dawlish - a separate study on the options to increase resilience on the Exeter to Newton Abbot route begins in November.
