Three men whose lives were saved by Exmouth RNLI when their boat sank last year are now helping the charity promote sea safety.
Jared Col-clough (cluff), Richard Smith and Dan Morton had gone out without lifejackets and had no working radio - but managed to call for help with a mobile phone.
The lifeboat arrived as they were clinging to the few feet of their boat which hadn't gone underwater.
Jared has now gained several sailing and powerboat qualifications and the men now give sea safety talks - using their frightening experience to highlight the safey message.
