Major road works begin in Exeter High Street today - to tackle long-standing drainage problems and subsidence.
They'll centre on a stretch of the road from Queen Street to Broadgate, in a project that'll take until the end of March.
The road will stay open to pedestrians throughout but be closed to buses for six weeks, starting in mid-February.
The county council says the works have been timed to avoid the busy January and Easter shopping periods, and that disruption will be kept to a minimum.
