An Exeter family have been banned from their council flat after plaguing their neighbours with months of anti-social behaviour.
People in Exe Street had been enduring noise, drunkenness, fighting and threatening behaviour since the woman and her 22 year old son moved in in May.
The city council had made several attempts to deal with the problems before police applied for a closure order.. which was granted this week.
As they boarded up the property, a passing neighbour spoke of their relief that the situation had finally been resolved.
