A serving member of the armed forces with links to Exeter has been charged with Northern Ireland-related terrorism offences.
Searches of a house in Exminster turned up items including documents, chemicals and explosives likely to be used for the purposes of terrorism.
30-year-old Ciaran Maxwell is due in court in London this afternoon.
Searches in County Antrim and woodland in Devon and are continuing.
