The Duke of Kent has been taken out to sea off Exmouth by the local RNLI crew this afternoon.
He joined them on board the new Shannon class lifeboat which is the only one of its kind in the south west.
Afterwards the royal visitor met volunteers at the boathouse, and was presented with a framed photo of the lifeboat as a memento.Hh
