Exeter's West of England School is hosting an international conference on visual impairment.
Over the next two days experts from around the world will be presenting research on the latest ways of helping visually-impaired or blind pupils to learn.
They'll also be hearing about visual neuroscience - relating to problems caused by damage to the areas of the brain associated with vision, rather than damage to the eyes.
