Exmouth's RNLI have been out again - to rescue a kite-surfer in a strong ebb tide at Polesands.
The inshore lifeboat crew were able to respond quickly as the woman was just 500 metres away from the lifeboat station.
Earlier this week they went to the aid of a sailor who was in difficulty just 500 metres from the shore - and three people whose motor boat broke down off Lympstone.
