It's badly damaged
A fire at Putts Corner, Sidbury in East Devon on Monday night is thought to have been started deliberately.
Police alerted Devon and Somerset fire control to the bale in a barn just before 11pm.
Fire appliances from Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth along with a water carrier from Danes Castle in central Exeter were sent.
The barn, measuring 7m x 20m, was fully on fire and eventually three-quarters of it was damaged by heat and smoke.
