Members of East Devon district council's planning committee are due to visit the proposed site of a large solar power farm near Broadclyst today.
The committee were recommended to approve the development, covering nine fields, at a meeting last week.
But they postponed a decision until they've seen the location for themselves.
Meanwhile plans for another solar panel farm near Sidbury have also been submitted to East Devon council - this one would cover 19.7 hectares at East Hill Strips.
