The company behind two of Devon's best-known seaside hotels has gone into administration.
Richardson Hotels Limited operates the Royal Beacon in Exmouth and the Grand in Torquay, as well as three others in Cornwall.
Administrator Mark Boughey said: "We will continue to trade on a business as usual basis. We appreciate that there will be a significant degree of concern and uncertainty for staff, guests and suppliers as a result of the companies entering administration."
