Thousands of homes in Devon have been badly effected by the strong winds caused by Storm Eleanor.
A clear-up is underway after Storm Eleanor brought down trees across Devon, causing power cuts to hundreds of homes and businesses. North and Mid Devon have been worst hit with winds of up to 60mph reported.
More than 1,200 properties without power in Devon, Somerset and Cornwall, engineers say.
This was made up of:
- 599 properties in EX postcode areas
- 137 in PL postcode areas
- 188 in TA postcode areas
- 41 in TQ postcode areas
- 248 in TR postcode areas
