Tide was coming in
A teenager has been rescued by fire crews from Exmouth beach after getting trapped in the sand with the tide coming in.
Emergency services were called to the incident at around 5 p.m. on Thursday, where RNLI lifeguards and members of the public were already trying to release the casualty.
The fire service has thanked everyone who played a part, and are warning beach-goers of the risks of digging very deep holes on the beach.
