Suspected early dementia may have been involved
Three vehicles have been written off in an accident on the North Devon Link Road near Tiverton late on Friday night.
Traffic officer Sergeant Harry Tangy's tweeted to say it's incredible only minor injuries resulted in an incident he's tagged as "carnage" that led to debris being strewn on the road for a third of a mile.
"Suspected early stages of dementia" may be to blame for one vehicle driving the wrong way down one of Devon's most dangerous roads.
