A list of well-meaning but wrong things people do to try and help animals has been put out by the Devon Wildlife Trust.
It includes giving bread to ducks - which was in the news yesterday because too many people still do it even though it's bad for them.
Others include putting bread and milk out for hedgehogs - also not good for them - and picking up baby birds from the ground in the mistaken belief that they've been abandoned by their parents.
