Tiverton, Cullompton and Crediton are all to benefit from grants of between five and ten thousand pounds to make their town centres more vibrant and bring in additional trade.
The money's come from the Government's High Street Innovation Fund.
Among the projects being supported are a community shop in Cullompton's farmers' market, and Crediton's scheme to decorate its high street with colourful flags.
Tiverton Museum also gets funding for a sculpture trail based on the Tivvy Bumper steam train.
