David Cameron has declared the south west "open for business" again - now that the rail line at Dawlish is back in action. The Prime Minister was in the town this morning
The track was swept away with part of the sea wall in early February, preventing trains from getting to Devon.
Teams have worked round the clock to restore the tracks in a project costing 35 million pounds.
The Prime Minister came to Dawlish for today's reopening and described the repair job as a 'Herculean effort'.
Discussions are still continuing on the best way to make the line more resilient to future storms and flooding - either through better protection or by re-routing it inland.
