Dawlish railway station will be full of colourful flowers when it reopens to trains on Friday.
Locally based TV gardener Toby Buckland has led a team of volunteers filling 10 containers with plants donated from his nursery at Powderham Castle.
He says he was horrified by the storm damage last month.. and then realised he could do something to help.
The volunteers were also assisted by Network Rail's workmen who took time off from repairing the line to carry the heavy bags of compost.
