Exeter's trade union movement says it'll be intensifying its campaign for a living wage and fair treatment of workers.... as the TUC relaunches its local branch today.
It's partly an awareness-raising exercise as unions continue to fight changes to pay and pensions in the fire service, and issues affecting postal workers after the privatisation of Royal Mail.
The TUC' says it's important to have an umbrella organisation to strengthen the opposition.
