New road safety measures are to be introduced in Kenton.
A narrow stretch of road is to get new traffic lights, and a pavement on one side where there currently isn't one, forcing pedestrians to walk close to passing vehicles.
The county council has agreed to spend a hundred and 35 thousand pounds on the scheme.
It's been welcomed by residents who've waited 15 years for the changes to be made.
