In Plymstock Dunstone and St Peter and the Waterfront
Voters in Plymouth will head to the polls today as by-elections are held for two city council seats.
Plymstock Dunstone and St Peter and the Waterfront are being contested following the death of Councillor Vivien Pengelly last month and the resignation of Sue McDonald.
The candidiates for Plymstock Dunstone are Peter Edwards (Lib Dem), Jackie Hilton (Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition), Julie Ann Hunt (Conservative), Darryl Christian Ingram (Heritage), Stefan Krizanac (Labour), Bruce Douglas Robinson (Green), Grace Stickland (Independent).
In St Peter and the Waterfront the candidates are Ryan John Aldred (Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition), Ian Thomas Fleming (Conservative), Andy Gibbons (Reform UK), Hugh James (Liberal Democrats), Shayna Chrissie Gwyneth Newham-Joynes (Green), Alison Jane Raynsford (Labour), Chaz Singh (Independent).
The polls are open from 7am to 10pm.
