An east Devon waste company has been fined after pleading guilty to three charges of failing to tackle noise pollution.
Wood Yew Waste Ltd was issued with two enforcement notices, in 2013 and early 2014, to reduce the noise from two wood chipping machines.
The company, based at Woodbury Salterton, then agreed to install a noise insulation board but didn't do so by the deadline date.
It's been fined 19 thousand 500 pounds and ordered to pay more than four thousand in costs.
