60mph winds expected this afternoon
A spell of heavy rain and strong winds is expected this afternoon between 13:00 and 23:00.
This evening, there'll be some persistent, heavy rain in places accompanied by gales, with possibly severe gales around exposed coasts.
Tonight, heavy rain and gales continue before eventually clearing around midnight leaving clear spells and scattered, locally heavy and possibly thundery showers.
Network Rail said services may be cancelled at short notice or delayed.
Network Rails says, " Severe weather is predicted this evening near Dawlish and the line between Exeter and Newton Abbot will be closed from 18:30 until at least 19:30. Please travel early if possible."
