The Governors of Westexe Technology College in Exeter are reassuring staff, parents and pupils about it's future.
Yesterday it was revealed that Executive Head teacher Steve Maddern had resigned following the controversy about his £150,000 salary and the financial management at the school.
It led to investigations, a Devon County Council audit, and City MP Ben Bradshaw demanding intervention from Education Secretary Michael Gove.
Vice Chair of Westexe Governors Peter Scott said, "we desperately need to move on for the sake of the students and staff".
