Jonathan Ali Khan posted on Facebook to say Jody Ann passed away Sunday afternoon.
The 56-year old had been in a coma since June 29th.
Her family had been trying to raise 16-thousand pounds to fly her to Switzerland or the US for specialist treatment.
Mr Ali Khan has lived in the UAE for the past thirty years but didn't have medical insurance to cover the cost of his wife's treatment.
