Blaze completely destroys room
A woman's been treated for burns and smoke inhalation after being caught in a fire in a bedroom in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Fire crews from Paignton and Torquay were called to a property in Torwood Gardens Road, off the main Babbacombe Road, around 1 am.
They put out the fire, which completely destroyed the bedroom and left half of the rest of the property with heavy smoke damage, and called an ambulance to help the woman.
The fire's thought to have been an accident.
