A young woman has been killed by a fallen tree in Exeter.
She was sleeping in a tent near Western Way, close to the junction with Barnfield Road, when the large spruce tree came down across a wall at about 10 to midnight last night.. she was trapped underneath.
The woman, aged 21, was taken to hospital but died of her injuries.
Two other people were injured and are also receiving medical treatment.
Police will be investigating the scene today
