Her vehicle hit tree
A woman has serious leg injuries after her vehicle collided with a tree near Exeter on Thursday evening.
She was driving a Honda Jazz at Haldon Ridge, between the A380 and A38, near Kennford, when it reportedly left the carriageway and hit a tree.
It was reported that a blue Honda Jazz had left the carriageway and had been in collision with a tree.
The woman, who is in her twenties, was trapped in the car and had to be extracted by the fire service. She was taken to Derriford Hospital.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. It was reopened at around 9.30pm, about five hours after the crash.
Police are asking for anyone with information or dashcam footage that could help with enquiries to call them on 101 quoting log 512 of 25 January.
