Boris Johnson has been to North Devon and Darts Farm

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been in Devon, as he continued campaigning ahead of next month's General Election.

This morning he visited Chulmeigh Academy, where he met pupils and said children in the county would see improvements in levels of education funding.

He said: “I think people will benefit with what we’re going to do with the roads, with the A303, with all the changes we will make to education funding, we’re putting more police out in the South West in Devon.

This afternoon, Mr Johnson continued on to Darts Farm at Topsham, where the party's East Devon candidate Simon Jupp reiterated the Prime Minister's desire to "get Brexit done".
