Exmouth Shanty Man Derek Brooks hosts a celebration of the great Scottish Bard, who was born 461 years ago today. The evening will commence with a marching piper in traditional Scottish dress playing some rousing highland airs. The haggis will be addressed and you will be able to enjoy a sample of the Celtic delicacy served with neeps and tatties. The fabulous Balcony Band will play a selection of traditional Scottish music and Exmouth Poet David Burke will read a selection of Burns’ work, including some of his more amusing creations. If you sing, play or would like to recite a poem do come and join in.
