76 illuminated Christmas trees decorated by local schools, clubs, societies, groups, charities and businesses. all displayed in the glorious setting of the magnificent grade 1 listed building in the heart of Crediton. Crediton Parish Church is owned by the community and has been designated one of Englands Major Parish Churches. The festival is one of the major fund raising events to keep this beautiful building upright and watertight.
The Festival has a grand opening on Wednesday 4th December at 3.45pm, when the lights to all the trees will be turned on for the first time. The festival then continues on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th from 11am to 6pm, Saturday 7th 10.30am to 7pm and Sunday 8th 11am to 5pm.
Admission and Parking are FREE. Hot and cold refreshments are available throughout the festival in the Christmas Cracker Café in the adjacent Boniface Centre. There will be a Concert by North Creedy Choral Society on Saturday 7th December at 7.30pm and on Sunday 8th Dec at 7.30pm ‘Swing into Christmas’, a concert with Andrew Daldorph on Piano, Chris Gradwell on Clarinet and Jim Rintoull on Double Bass will bring the curtain down on the Crediton Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival.
