Set over the 3rd and 4th July 2026, East Devon Soul Festival is a community-driven music event in the seaside town of Seaton, championing sustainability, creativity, and cultural regeneration. With an eclectic mix of soul-infused genres, East Devon Soul features Dr Meaker, Kaya Fyah, The Egg and Tomorrow’s Warriors presents. Seaton will be transformed into a resonating mass of beautiful music, crossing jazz, electronica, DnB, ska and even some surf rock. Street bands and DJ’s will perform across the town on 4th July, Seaton’s own independence day.

The festival starts on Friday eve, 3rd July, with The Rumble-O’s rocking the Old Picture House. At the Tramway there will be 3 jazz acts featuring the cream of UK talent, in association with Tomorrow’s Warriors, home of Ezra Collective and Nubya Garcia. Across Saturday daytime, there will be live music and DJ’s across town or by the beach, from local artists, curated by Sustainability Live Radio, B Sharp, local schools and community groups. Wander around Seaton, grab some fresh and natural food from local businesses and head to the Gateway Theatre for 4 headline acts from the late afternoon, crossing jazz, funk, ska, soul and DnB borders, culminating with the awesome Dr Meaker. After this, walk over the road to the Old Picture House for some live electronic music, including festival favourites The Egg. Finish the day at the beach, enjoying sunset with a lovely cocktail/ beer with DJ’s at Tide, The Vault and Hideaway venues until the early hours.
