Lady’s Mile marquee Dawlish, Devon – Sunday 6th September 2026, 12pm – 9:30pm
A brand-new music and mindfulness festival will bring together live music, community spirit and positive wellbeing experiences for all ages in September. The festival will be in aid of Mind.
The festival will feature a full day of live entertainment across two stages. The main stage will showcase a range of live acts throughout the day, with pop and rock covers band Bootleggers Turn headlining the event. Festivalgoers can also enjoy performances on the dedicated acoustic stage, featuring talented local singer-songwriters including Chris Ostler and Ellie Finnerty.
Alongside the music there will be wellbeing activities, local stalls and activities and experiences designed to promote relaxation, mindfulness and positive mental health. Visitors will be able to explore a variety of activities that are family friendly and fun for all ages. Entry will be free with donations encouraged for Mind.
Festival organisers hope the event will create a welcoming atmosphere where people can come together to enjoy great music, support local talent and discover new ways to look after their wellbeing.
Dawlish hosts two great events on Sunday 6thSeptember – not only this new festival but a fund-raising music event at the Swan Pub in Dawlish in aid of local charity AIMS. Organisers of the new festival and the AIMS event are working to mutually support each other. At the Lady’s Mile Summer Stock event on 30th August organisers of the GMS festival will hold a bucket collection for AIMS alongside selling cakes and tea/coffee in aid of MIND.
The organisers of the GMS Festival are all volunteers and greatly appreciate the support of Lady’s Mile in being able to hold the event.
Gaz Chatterton – one of the volunteer organisers said:
“This festival is all about bringing people together through music, connection and wellbeing. We want it to be a relaxed and uplifting day for the whole community, with something for everyone to enjoy – whether that’s watching live bands, discovering local acoustic artists, exploring wellbeing activities or simply spending time with friends and family.”
