More Information (Radio Exe is not responsible for external websites)
Formed in 2007 at Plymouth University, Le Navet Bete has been wowing audiences with their high-energy, slapstick humour for years.
The group have gone on to create hit shows, recently breaking box office records with their pantomimes at the Northcott Theatre in Exeter.
Now, for one night only, they return with their five-star smash hit, King Arthur! Imagine 'Fawlty Towers' meets ancient legend.
Arthur knows that if he doesn't turn things around, his civilisation will be forgotten as a dull moment in British history. But when three hapless squires approach him about changing that legacy, a legend is born!
This hilarious, high-energy retelling of the legendary tale, packed with physical comedy and slapstick, is a collaboration with Olivier Award-nominated writer John Nicholas.
Le Navet Bete co-founder Al Dunn says: “Making accessible work has always been central to our ethos. It's our mission to create and tour hilarious, physical, and totally accessible comedy using creative and engaging storytelling.'"
