Summer fun at Theatre Royal Plymouth

Theatre Royal Plymouth is hosting a pop-up outdoor event for musical lovers and families from July 30th to September 6th.

For four weeks in August, they'll have activities every Thursday and Sunday, with a mix of pre-booked and walk-up events.

Enjoy bands, quizzes, DJs, theatre, cabaret, workshops, and more, plus food and drinks.

They're transforming their scenery dock into a welcoming hub of entertainment and community - here are some of the highlights:

🌊 On Saturday, August 9th, there's "The Sea Show," a mix of puppetry, natural history, and comedy cabaret performed by a Penzance-based actor.

🥁 Sunday, August 10th, Real Steel, an internationally acclaimed steel band, will perform vibrant Caribbean rhythms.

🎭 On August 14th, there's a big musical theatre quiz, with live performances from them and their young company. Test your knowledge of shows from "Hamilton" to "Chicago"!

🎤 On August 15th, take centre stage at the homegrown open mic night, with music, dancing, games, and mass karaoke
