The Radio Exe Academy
Bring your team to the Radio Exe studios for a team-building day that delivers new skills, builds confidence, brings people together – and is fun to do.
A Radio Exe team-building course is for small groups of between five and eight people, who can be part of a single team who know each other well, or for people representing different parts of an organization.
You’ll be working together to produce your own radio programme to take away with you.
You’ll need to select your topic, people to interview and guests to join you. You’ll need to think about the news, features and items that will tell your story well. You’ll learn how to write scripts, edit audio material and present it to an audience. At the end of the day, you will put it all together in what could be a mad rush, organized chaos, or a seamless, polished performance. Just like much work.
You’ll know a little more about each other, and yourself. You’ll have new tools, so you can communicate more effectively, especially with an outside audience. And you’ll learn how news organisations and producers work so you may be able to generate more publicity when you return to work.
