Devon based company use pedal power to help homeless pets

Later this month, the staff of Boyce Hatton solicitors in Torquay will be doing a bike ride with a difference, in aid of the homeless animals at Animals in Distress.

On Friday 20 July from 9am until 4pm, the solicitors will be cycling along with the Tour de France on a static road bike in their offices on The Terrace, Torquay. The bike will be mounted on a turbo trainer which records how many km are covered, and the team will each be allocated 15 min slots throughout the day to cycle as far as they can.

Everyone is invited to support the team's amazing efforts by joining in their sweepstake, which is just £2 to enter. All you have to do is guess how many km the team will cycle throughout the day, and the closest entry will win a bottle of champagne, donated by Boyce Hatton! Every penny raised will go to help the homeless pets at the Animals in Distress rescue centre.
