A man was also injured
A 14-year-old boy from Exeter has been arrested following a police pursuit in the city.
Officers spotted a suspicious silver Vauxhall Astra estate on Exmouth Road in Lympstone at around 6.50pm on Tuesday 28 November.
The car travelled through Ebford at speed towards the Sandygate roundabout before heading into Sowton Industrial Estate and then onto Pinhoe.
During the incident, the vehicle collided with a male pedestrian on Chancel Lane causing minor injuries to his foot.
A marked police car was also rammed and badly damaged - the officers weren't injured.
The car eventually stopped on Stemson Avenue in Pinhoe at around 7:05pm and the driver fled the scene. He was located a short time later.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and without insurance.
He's been bailed until 19 February 2024.
