A third of a million pounds is to be spent in Devon teaching children to ride their bikes safely
A cycling safety scheme for Devon schoolchildren has been awarded more Government funding.
The Bikeability scheme run by the county council - which yesterday announced 27 million pounds of cuts to public services - has been given 300 thousand pounds by the Department for Transport.
It'll pay for around more than seven thousand children to be trained to ride their bikes safely.
