Council tax could be raised in Devon and Cornwall to offset the effect of huge Government funding cuts.
The Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg has warned that there will be a need to completely rethink the delivery of policing services, if the expected £54 million reduction does go ahead.
But he says the full extent of the cuts - and their likely implications - isn't clear yet.
