Ground staff at Exeter City have borrowed a special machine to try and remove the standing water on the pitch.
It follows concerns that Saturday's big game against Portsmouth might not be able to go ahead on the saturated turf.
They're using a device called the Blotter - lent to them by Somerset Cricket Club - which is a motorised roller coated with highly absorbent sponge material.
