It involves a car, lorry and campervan.
Emergency services were called at around 2.20pm today (Thursday 30th May) to a serious crash on the A30 eastbound at Whimple involving a car, lorry and campervan.
Police, paramedics, the fire service and the air ambulance are currently on the scene.
A child has also sustained injuries, the severity of which is unknown at this time.
One man has sustained serious injuries.
The extent of any other injuries is not yet known.
The road was closed in both directions for the air ambulance to land.
The eastbound carriageway will be closed for several hours. Traffic is being diverted at Daisymount.
