Teachers, staff, and parents of pupils, can take part in a consultation on the Government's plans for a fairer funding process.
The Budget announcement last week also included half a million pounds to help change the way funding is allocated.
The county councillor for education, James McInnes, says they have been campaigning for more money for many years so the latest announcement is good news.
