    Almost all Devon's energy can be renewable says Green MEP

    New report commissioned by south west Green member of EU parliament claims 21,000 jobs and nearly a billion pounds can be injected into the local economy by turning away from fossil fuels

    Devon could produce nearly all of its energy needs according to the South West's Green MEP.

    A report commissioned by Molly Scott Cato claims renewable energy from solar panels, wind farms and wave power could also create 21 thousand jobs.

    She says it would generate nearly 900 million pounds for Devon's economy
