Plans for a multi million pound visitor attraction near Tiverton, involving the creator of the Eden Project, could be revived.
The ambitious proposals include a surf lake and beach, a food and drink centre and a designer outlet village, centred around a glass Ark.
The scheme had stalled after Mid Devon district council failed to include it in its development blueprint for the next 20 years.
But now councillors have narrowly voted to look again at the Local Plan - meaning the so-called Eden Westwood Project may feature after all.
