26-year-old man is being questioned
Another man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Exmouth in the early hours of Saturday 31 May.
A 26-year old man from the East Devon town was taken into custody this morning, where he will be interviewed by detectives.
Eight people have now been arrested in connection to the incident in the East Devon town.
Emergency services were called to a property in Ashfield Close, at around quarter to one in the morning, on Saturday 31 May, to reports a man had been assualted. A 24-year-old man, from the local area, was prounced dead at the scene after suffering a single stab wound.
Zac Davies, 23, of Hawthorn Grove, in Exmouth, Dylan Chadwick, 23, of Cambourne Avenue, in St Helens, Ben Mason, 23, of no fixed abode, Exmouth and Thomas Ward, 24, of Russell Walk, in Exeter all appeared at Exeter Magistrate's Court charged with murder, last week. They were remanded in custody.
Two men and a woman were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
