Woman concussed and has tyre marks
Police are appealing for information about a collision between a pedestrian and a van in the Sticklepath area of Barnstaple on Wednesday 9 December.
At around 5.15 p.m. on Station Road, close to Halfords, a white van, similar to a Transit van, knocked a woman over and drove off.
The woman suffered concussionand spent the spent the night in hospital. She also suffered torn fibres in her leg and tyre marks were left on her trousers.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, was in the area at the time and saw the van, or has dashcam or CCTV footage which may have captured the incident or the van prior to, or after the collision, is asked to contact police on 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting log number 499 of 9 December.
