One man was punched several times in the head
An appeal has been launched after a man was seriously assaulted in an Exeter pub.
It happened on Monday 11 November at the Stoke Arms pub on Prince Charles Road, between 9.30pm and 10.30pm.
Two men, who were known to one another, had been playing pool and spoke to a group by the pool table.
The pair then got into an altercation with eachother, resulting in one being punched several times in the head. The attack continued into the car park.
The victim, a man in his late 20s, was left with a broken collarbone.
Police say he’s recovering, and ask anyone with information to come forward.
DC Charles Wilkes said: “We wish to speak to the group by the pool table, thought to be students, as they may have seen what happened and have vital information to help with our investigation.”
