The 72-year-old later died at Derriford Hospital
A female pedestrian has died in hospital, after colliding with an HGV in Bovey Tracey yesterday [10 December].
The incident took place on Fore Street just after 2pm, near the Cromwell Arms.
The woman suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital, but was later pronounced dead.
Police say the driver of the vehicle involved is assisting them in their enquiries to establish the cause.
Witnesses are asked to contact on 101 with information quoting log number 435 of 10th December 2019.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to any witness who may have captured this incident on dash cam.
